'Portraits of Birds': M.C. and Amanda Morgan have been photographing birds in the St. Augustine, Florida area ever since they retired. Their bird photos have been pleasing their friends and neighbors, and the members of St. Johns Audubon, for several years now. This sampling of their Portraits of Birds will give you an idea of the patience and skill of these wonderful artists.

October 4, 2007 - Brown Booby observed and photographed by Zach McKenna in Matanzas Bay.

June 17, 2007 - Greater Shearwaters observed & photographed from shoreline at Summer Haven by Diane Reed.

June 4, 2007 - American Avocets observed by Diane Reed at Six Mile Boat Ramp.

June 2, 2007 - White Rumped Sandpipers observed at Vilano Boat Ramp by Diane Reed.

March 2007 - Black Legged Kittiwake observed and photographed on the beach.

February 3, 2007 - Long Tailed Ducks (3) & Common Eider (2) observed in Matanzas Bay. Reports continued throughout the following week.

May 2006 - A Mute Swan was observed and photographed among a flock of wading White Pelicans at Guana River State Park (6 Mile Landing).
